Monorail covering the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah The Dubai Monorail is an elevated monorail open on April 30, 2009 that runs along the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah in its entire length, from Gateway station to the Atlantis hotel (Atlantis-Aquaventure station) From Gateway Station descending after two stops (Nakheel Mall stop) you can visit Dubai's new attraction the Palm Tower with the observatory (The View at The Palm) and its pool with views (Aura Sky Pool) The Dubai Monorail is connected with stop number 9 of the Dubai Tram, but unlike the tram and metro it is not managed by the RTA (the body that manages public transport in Dubai), this means that the Nol Card (silver or red ticket) does not allow you to use the monorail. The entire journey on the monorail takes 15 minutes, and thanks to its elevated structure you can admire several structures otherwise not visible. As soon as you leave on the right you can admire the Logo Island (private property of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, along with his 159-meter yacht) in the background you can admire the Burj Al Arab Continuing you can see the exclusive skyscrapers, but the view becomes spectacular admiring the various wings of the palm tree with its exclusive villas by the sea. Each of them has one side on the road with a private garden and one side on the Palma beach.
